Terry Lupp

Funny Girl (Mrs. Strakosh)

(Oy, Another Jewish Lady!) is happy to return to the Playhouse for this fun role, to be working with the amazing, talented director and designer Chris Harmon., and to be performing with this great and talented cast and crew, Terry last  appeared here in one of her most favorite roles -- as "Berthe" in Pippin.   She also played “Yente” in Fiddler on the Roof last year, for which she received a Blackburn Award, and a DayTony ensemble award. Earlier this year, she was pleased to appear as Aida Gianelli in Over the River and Through the Woods, at Beavercreek Community Theatre.  Much of her 30-year professional acting & singing career has been at La Comedia Dinner Theatre, where her favorite roles were: Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Ida Straus in Titanic, and Yente in Fiddler.  She also had a blast performing in an Agatha Christie mystery The Unexpected Guest at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Indiana. Terry would like to thank her family,  relatives and friends for their continued support, but mostly her patient husband of 53 years, Ken, for loving and encouraging her as she "lives her dream‘.
